SpecsOnline was developed for a European eyewear manufacturer aiming to expand into the direct-to-consumer (D2C) market and build a strong digital sales channel.
Moving from a traditionally offline or distributor-led model, the objective was to create a scalable e-commerce ecosystem that not only handles complex prescription-based configurations but also delivers a personalized and engaging customer experience.
The solution combines intelligent automation, including prescription reading (OCR), dynamic pricing, and immersive 3D visualization, enabling users to confidently purchase eyewear online while allowing the business to own customer relationships and data directly.

Problem Statement
The client wanted to replicate the confidence and personalization of in-store eyewear shopping in a fully digital environment while maintaining scalability.
However, several challenges stood in the way:
